We have 11 regional support groups, and 4 support groups for those with specific WM experiences, such as mums, families and carers with WM. Groups meet online and in person to share stories, experience and encouragement.
Whether you’ve just been diagnosed or have been living with WM for years, our support groups are welcoming spaces where you can connect with others who understand.
Most groups meet on Zoom, and some also organise small in-person meetups. Many keep in touch between meetings through WhatsApp, offering ongoing support and a sense of community.
Please note: While WMUK helps guide and promote these groups, they are all run by dedicated volunteers and operate independently. This means we’re not responsible for the information shared or services provided within the groups — but we’re proud to support the amazing work they do.
Contact us or email support@wmuk.org.uk and we’ll put you in touch with the right group.
Meeting others affected by WM in your area can help with feelings of isolation. They meet regularly online, and often will organise informal in-person gatherings in your area.
Get in touch with us using this form or email support@wmuk.org.uk and we will connect you with a local support group leader who’ll reach out in person.
